Citizens Bank of Cumberland County is a locally owned and operated bank founded in 2000 in Burkesville Kentucky.  The first directors of the bank were: Joe David Brown, James Long, Todd Morgan, Richard Neikirk, Dr. Samuel Rice, Carol Ann Sells and David Spears.  The founders converted a gas station/car wash located at 209 Keen Street into a beautifully functional bank facility.  Our bank is located near the picturesque Cumberland River.   

Citizens Bank provides a comprehensive range of financial services with a family atmosphere.  The founders were aware of the need for a locally owned hometown bank to serve the needs of the small rural town of Burkesville, Kentucky.  This vision came true and the citizens of Cumberland County continue to realize the benefits of hometown banking.  Our bank is extremely proud to be locally owned and operated and our goal continues to be to serve the community and offer banking services which fit the needs of Cumberland County.
